It’s NaNo time!
The most stressful time of the year is back! November is all about writing, as NaNoWriMo takes me about two hours a day during that month.
This year the project is even crazier than usual. Basically, the aim is to write a novel (or any other text) of at least 50,000 words over the 30 days of November, so around 1,667 words a day. But at the last minute, I decided to spice up the challenge and try to write a short story (around 20,000 words) in 15 days, my goal being to gift it to someone on the 30th of November.
As I’m writing in French, I’ll still have to proofread, correct and translate my story (the gift is intended for an English speaker), then print it, design the cover and bind it so that it’s ready by 29 November at the latest. On that date I’ll have to make a 5-hour drive to meet the recipient the next day.
And because I don’t do things by halves, I’m going to continue writing 1,667 words a day after I finish writing my short story on the 15th of November. So I’ll be working on a side project to make sure I get those words down, while I get on with my main project at the same time.
Wish me luck, it’s not going to be easy! And by the way, I obviously won’t have any time left for modding this month 🙁
Here’s a preview of the cover for my story. For once, the project has nothing to do with Far Cry 5, but it’s still very much in the realms of fan fiction.
