Mod request – General terms and conditions

ℹ️ Preamble

I offer the creation of mods for Far Cry 5 (owned by Ubisoft) upon request. This is provided in my spare time, in addition to my full-time job. While I am not a 3D professional artist and do not have formal training in this field, I have developed my skills through years of practice and strive to provide high-quality, functional mods.

Please note that delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on my professional schedule, the complexity of the project and any unforeseen technical difficulties.

🛒 Order process

The customer must provide a precise description of the requested mod using the form available on my website (Tihocan.com).

I reserve the right to refuse any request involving illegal, hateful, discriminatory, political or otherwise inappropriate content, or any content that conflicts with my personal values.

Once all necessary information has been received, I will evaluate the project and provide a quote. Depending on the complexity of the request, a deposit may be required before any work begins.

The mod will be developed for the current version of the game and the Mod Installer available at the time of the order. I will test the final version before delivery.

💲Rates and payment

Basic mod (single item texture and/or colour change): €5.

Other mods, including multiple item changes, custom assets and 3D work, will be subject to an individual quote based on the estimated workload.

Please contact me and provide all relevant details so that I can evaluate the project before any work begins.

In exceptional cases, I reserve the right to revise the price if unforeseen technical difficulties or additional work significantly increase the workload. The customer will always be informed and consulted beforehand.

Payment is made exclusively via PayPal to the account indicated on the invoice. The payment deadline is indicated on the invoice. In case of non-payment within this period, the order will be cancelled.

Unless otherwise agreed, the final payment must be received before delivery of the final version of the mod. Any additional requests or modifications not included in the original order will be invoiced separately.

Estimated working time covers only the development and testing of the requested mod. Any work required to adapt the mod to future versions of the game or Mod Installer will be charged separately.

Prices are displayed in euros (€). Any currency conversion fees applied by payment providers remain the responsibility of the customer.

 ⚖️ General terms and conditions

The personal data you provide for billing purposes (e-mail address, first name) will not be passed on to third parties and will only be used to communicate with you in connection with your order.

The mod is delivered functional with the version of the game and the Mod Installer available at the time of delivery. I cannot guarantee compatibility with future updates of the game and Mod Installer, unless explicitly agreed.

To use my mods, you must have the official and legally acquired PC version of the game and the Mod Installer developed by ArmanIII and team.

I do not condone piracy, and assume that any request sent to me concerns an official, legally acquired version of the game.

The game’s characters, assets and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Ubisoft and their respective rights holders. Only my own working time (or any custom 3D work) is covered by the payment.

If the customer wishes to include an asset of which I am not the author, he must obtain prior authorization from its creator. I decline all responsibility in the event of fraudulent use of an asset supplied to me by the customer.

If I use a third-party asset on my own initiative, I will obtain the author’s prior consent and mention his or her name in the mod’s credits.

If the order is cancelled after the project has started, the deposit is non-refundable.

I reserve the right to showcase completed mods (screenshots or videos) on my website, portfolio or social media pages, unless otherwise agreed with the customer.

These terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Switzerland.

✅ Verification period

Once the mod has been delivered, the customer has 7 days to test its correct operation and notify me of any necessary corrections. Any correction required to fix a defect or an issue with the original request will be handled free of charge during the verification period. Any new feature, change of specifications or additional request will be considered a new task and may incur an additional charge. After this period, any corrections or modifications will be subject to an additional charge, depending on the work required.

Any partial or total modification, redistribution, reuse or commercial use of the delivered mod is forbidden without my prior written consent.
